Tools supporting updating links to relocated blocks would be helpful: articles grow in length and sometimes do need to be broken up. However, any links to relocated blocks then break.

Suggestion

A solution might be to offer the user a 'relocation token'. When pasted somewhere into a different article, the system would recognise this and relocate selected blocks, updating any links as needed. A 'copy relocation token' would be available as part of the contextual menu whenever blocks are selected in the editor. Clicking this would generate the relocation token and copy it to the clipboard.

Alternatively, a 'relocate selected content' option in the context menu might also work: the user selects an article from a list of existing articles - any selected blocks in the current article would then be appended to the bottom of the target article, with updated links throughout knowledge base.
