Dashboard redesign 🎨

We have fully redesigned the Dashboard navigation system to give you more filtering options on all modules and scale better with the new products we have recently introduced.

The settings page has also been completely reworked to help you find the necessary information faster and easier.

Introducing webhooks 🪝

You can now listen to all kinds of events on your Featurebase workspace to create your own automations.

Here are some example events:

• Feedback events - Listen for post creation, updates, deletions & upvotes

• Changelog events - Listen for new changelogs (markdown output included)

• Comments events - Listen for new comments, edits & deletions

Feedback board rework 💡

We have completely reworked the feedback board creation & editing to be easier to digest and offer many new features.

New features:

• Segmented board access - You can now only showcase selected feedback boards to configured user segments

• Customize CTA section per board - This allows you to change the disclaimer message for your boards

• Translation improvements - The board & CTA section can be renamed for enabled languages

Major changes:

• Previous user role-based board access has been converted to use the segmenting system

• User roles are also now called User Tags

User invites 👥

Have a small group of beta testers or end users and don’t want to set up a complex SSO flow?

No worries, with the new user invites feature you can invite and give access to individual emails to your Featurebase organization.

Our Dashboard offers an intuitive interface to also automatically send an email to the user letting them know they have been invited.

Quality-of-life updates 💫

Feedback module translation support

You can now configure all available languages for your feedback portal and even change the default language (from Settings → Feedback → Boards).

Thanks to this, you can now also customize the CTA section for each language and rename boards per language.

Behavior change: This update forces the visitor to the configured languages, making sure the experience isn’t half-baked with languages you don’t want to support or have not customized.

Feedback portal improvements

• Redesigned AI-similar board suggestion system prevents interruptions during writing

• Searching in public boards now highlights exact matching results

Users module changes

• A basic Users module is now available from the Starter plan, however, more advanced actions are still limited actions unless on a Business plan

• Redesigned active user view

• User location is now stored and displayed from the users’ module and also when viewing a feedback post

• The total number of users is now also displayed in the top-left corner

Roadmap updates

• Introduced the ability to search and highlight results on the roadmap page.

• Improved design consistency

Other changes

• Analytics module - Is now called “Advanced analytics” and is out of beta + moved behind the Business plan. Individual changelog analytics is still available on all plans.

• The private organization access has received a massive facelift to guide you better through all available options.
