Introducing: AI Replies, macros, automatic feedback translations & more

We're super excited to bring you a major update that’ll massively improve your workflow in Featurebase and much more! 👇


AI replies ✨

AI replies are the most powerful communication features in Featurebase. They save time for your team and make it easy to give closure to feedback submitters.

Just open a post and press CMD+K on Mac (CTRL+K on Windows) or the lightning icon to quickly reply to feedback, respond to comments, and even update the status automatically.

Here are some cool things about AI replies:

  • Smart status updates – If your reply signals an action (e.g. fixing a bug or planning a feature), AI will automatically suggest a status change along with the comment.

  • Your tone of voice - It studies your latest comments to grasp the right style and tone of voice.

  • Personalized messages – It personalizes the message using the name of the user. If there are multiple upvoters or commenters, it will say ‘Everyone’.

Tip: You can complete the whole workflow with only your keyboard, as seen in the video above: CMD+K type some words + Enter + CMD+Enter

Macros ⚡

Macros are canned comments that reduce the time your team spends answering repetitive questions. This frees them up to focus on their strengths: solving problems.

You can use macros the same way as AI replies—open a post and press CMD+K.

Macros can also change the post status to make the workflow super seamless.

Automatic feedback post translations 🚩

This one’s huge for companies with a global audience. Now, all feedback can be automatically translated into your users’ native language to improve communication and engagement.

By default, Featurebase shows a translation button on posts that are not in your organization's default language.

However, you can also enable automatic translations to show all feedback on the public portal automatically in your users’ native language.

Other improvements:

  • Added a possibility to edit custom fields for posts created before their creation

  • Introduced a new date data type for custom post fields

  • Added support for multi-organization single workspace Jira integration setups

  • + loads of smaller improvements and bug fixes
