Add support for sending notifications to Apple private email relay service
When users create account with Apple ID (icloud) and choose an option to hide their email, all you get is email with @privaterelay.appleid.com. As of now, our users that have created account with this option are not receiving mail notifications from info@featurebase.app. To confirm this, I've created a new icloud account as a brand new user and confirmed that the users indeed don't receive notifications from Featurebase on their icloud email.
If you want to send an email to those users, or automated email notification, Apple requires you to first make some configuration on your domain (in this case featurebase.app)

Hey! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I was under the impression that emails sent to the relays would be automatically forwarded, however this seems to not be the case.
By the looks of it this shouldn't require too much trouble from our end to set up properly - just an apple developer license which should be easy to get.
Having an apple dev license would also potentially open the door to logging in with an apple account which would be quite convenient on mobile for some users.
I'll keep you guys posted on any progress we make on this.

Thank you for the quick response.
It is pretty convenient for Apple users to sign up/sign in using their iCloud/Face ID. We made these changes for Rolla users so if guys need any help I'm more than happy to share more information.

I've applied to the apple developer program with Featurebase now. Our enrollment is being processed at the moment.
Looking at some google results it could potentially take a week or two for them to enroll us. Hopefully they do it faster🤞

Hey! We got our Apple Developer license today and I've added all our domains/sending email addresses to the list.
I tested sending some emails to the relay and it seemed to work perfectly now.
I'd still appreciate if you folks could also test if it works on your end.

I tried to sign up again with Hide My Email on iCloud+ and the notifications are coming through just fine:

Created Rolla account with Hide My Email and used that account to login to Featurebase.
In that case, email is shown with @privaterelay.appleid.com instead of @icloud.com
Gmail accounts and Apple accounts with @icloud.com receive notifications, but 8prbzxpqxz@privaterelay.appleid.com never received an email notification
One of my colleagues, who already created Rolla account (with Hide My Email option) and loged in to Featurebase also didn't receive notification

I think once you login with Hide My Email on Rolla it only allows your emails(@rolla etc) to send to the relay address.
You could try adding our sending address to the allowed email communication list in your apple developer settings to see if the emails go through then.
Go to: https://developer.apple.com/account/resources/services/configure
Try adding featurebase.app and info@featurebase.app as an allowed domain/email there.
I think this should fix the problem.

You are right. Once we added featurebase.app as an allowed domain to our Apple dev account notifications were sent to the users.
