Attribute-based auto-subscription for Changelogs

I want to be able to selectively auto-subscribe users to changelog notifications based on user types or attributes passed via the widget. For example, we want to auto-subscribe teachers, admins, and staff users by default, but not students. Currently, the auto-subscribe toggle is all-or-nothing, which doesn't work for our user base of 85K+ where many haven't opted in.
