Automatic 'Source' property for user entries

I want a built-in 'Source' property for user entries that automatically tracks how a user was created (e.g., by an Admin, self-signup, a specific integration like Zendesk, API, etc.). This is important for filtering and segmenting users, especially when integrations import large numbers of users that we may not want to target in changelogs or other communications.
