Add ability to save edits, delete, and merge companies
There is currently no way to delete or merge companies once they've been created, and no explicit save button when editing company details.
Because companies are created at the user level (often via a text field with browser autocomplete/autocorrect interfering), it's easy to accidentally create duplicates or misspelled variants. For example, you can end up with three entries β "TEAMW", "Team Work", and "TeamWork C" β all representing the same company.
Today, you can go back to individual users and update their company assignment, but the orphaned/duplicate company records remain in the system with no way to clean them up. This leads to a cluttered, inaccurate company list.
What we'd like:
A Save button on the company detail/edit view to confirm changes explicitly
An Delete company option to remove companies that were created in error
A Merge companies function to consolidate duplicates into a single record (reassigning all associated users automatically)
This would give admins basic housekeeping control over their company list and prevent the inevitable data quality issues that come from the current creation flow
