Customize or hide quarterly labels (Q1-Q4) on Date Custom Fields

I want to be able to remove or customize the Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4 signifiers from Custom Date Fields. Currently, they are hard-coded to calendar quarters, which doesn't match our quarterly alignment. This causes confusion for our clients who expect releases at different times due to this misalignment. It would be great to have a way to hide these labels or align them with our fiscal year.
