I want the 'new message' icon on top off the messenger to be red, so its more clear that there is a new message

Currently its an off color compared to your set color. This however is not making it very clear that there is a new message. For us, making it red would already be enough, which is in many cases the color of a new message on several apps. Making it controllable would obviously also work and would be fine as well.
