Merging imported posts can incorrectly reduce vote totals

When posts that were imported with pre-existing vote counts are merged, votes that are not tied to individual user accounts may not be preserved correctly.

As a result, the merged post can show fewer votes than expected, and unmerging can also produce incorrect totals.

Votes from real user accounts appear to merge correctly - the issue affects imported aggregate vote counts.
