Multiple Changelog Boards & Segment Filtering

Ability to have separate changelog boards (like Feedback boards) so end-users can filter and view updates for one application at a time, rather than seeing all segmented posts they have access to at once.

In addition, having similar filtering (like the Users tab) for the licensed user would be amazing.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    This is already supported - you can either restrict changelog access to segments and/or restrict which changelog categories are displayed within the widget.

    Would either of those work for your use case?

      We are just beginning to explore the Changelog functionality in Featurebase and we do plan on using segments for visibility permissions. I just don’t see a way to filter by segments on the Changelog summary page. In the org I use for testing, I have several Changelogs that are for different segments, but I have no way of knowing that at a glance. What I was attempting to explain above was that it would be useful would be adding the segment(s) that the Changelog post is for to the section with the details of the post. Then also adding segment filtering on the left menu to make it easier to see which posts are for which segment. I also tried using the general search bar at the top to search for all Changelog posts for a segment, but nothing came up. We rely heavily on segments so having the ability to filter would be a huge help.

      Many of our end users use several of our applications. We use segments to grant permission for end users to see the relevant modules for the applications they use. When we start using Featurebase for our Changelog, I am concerned that these end users will be overwhelmed with having all of the posts for all of the applications they use without the ability to filter by segments. If end users had the ability to filter by segments, then they would be able to control what content they are viewing and have more context as to what it pertains to.

      I hope I explained this in a way that makes sense. Please let me know if you have any questions on it.
