Outgoing Email Logs / Delivery History

I want to be able to see a log of all outgoing emails generated by the system (e.g., when a post is moved to 'Done'). This is important because a customer reported not receiving a notification for a post they were subscribed to, and I need to verify if the email was sent and got caught in a spam filter, or if it wasn't sent at all due to a misconfiguration.
