Paste clipboard image

Requests & Insights

When I finish developing to fulfill a request, I want to paste a screenshot to show how it was implemented. Usually on Slack or Trello, I copy a screenshot (Cmd+Shift+Cntl+4) and paste it (Cmd+V) (I'm on macOS). Please let me do it here.

    I found I can paste an image into content when raising a new issue, but I can't paste on comment section (here).

    Did some more research and found out that some browsers, like Firefox, have disabled clipboard events by default, therefore there is no way to support that (You will run into the same issue in Google docs and all other web tools that allow pasting images). Try to enable dom.event.clipboardevents from your browser to fix this. Here is an example for Firefox: https://www.forbesconrad.com/blog/enable-password-pasting/

      Wait, I remember I can paste an image on Trello. I assume handling clipboard event is complicated thing.

    Great. Got it. My environment is Version 96.0.4664.55 (Official Build) (x86_64) on macOS Big Sur 11.4

    This should already work with the Chrome browser, however, we are aware of issues with pasting images on Firefox and other browsers. We will investigate this and fix it ASAP.
