Post with e-mail only (without password)

Currently there is an option to sign in with e-mail and password or to allow anonymous postings. There should be a third option to allow new submissions or upvotes with e-mail address only.

  1. Users can add submissions or vote without registration, but they have to enter an e-mail address

  2. An email is sent to them, and they have to confirm the action with a link which is sent in the mail

Reopening this for consideration as despite the SDK and SSO, there have been some users who are interested in allowing users to perform actions by only adding their email, like so:

Closing this for now, as our SDK and SSO functionality provides a seamless way of auto-authenticating the users, so there isn't much need for this IMO.

The in-app feedback widget gives a space for anonymous users to leave their email address, but seemingly this doens’t get stored anywhere 🤔

It looks like a few days has taken a few years, but I agree that this could be a useful feature. We can already accomplish this if we upvote on behalf of a user by providing only an email address, but additionally, posting on behalf of a user by providing just an email address and/or allowing the user to post by providing just an email address directly would also be nice.
