Slack as a channel for Changelog posts

Because our board is private, we can't get a good preview of our changelog posts when we put the link in Slack, so we need to copy/paste the content of the post along with the link.

It would be a real time-saver if our changelog posts were automatically posted to Slack through the existing integration.

    Hey everyone!

    You can now send your Updates straight to Slack channels, with the full content in the message.

    Your team can read each Update in Slack even when your portal is private, so there’s no more copying and pasting. Choose the channels or a Slack channel segment for each Update, and preview the message before you publish. Later edits also update the messages you already posted.

    To try it, connect Slack, open an Update in Updates, and turn on Send Slack notification under Slack notification. Sending Updates to Slack is available on the Professional plan and up.

    This can now be achieved with our Webhook update.

    To get started, head over to Settings → Advanced → Webhooks.

    The easiest way to achieve any workflow would be to listen for the webhook with Zapier and then you can add any of your custom logic and forward it to whatever tool or channel you like.

    For configurability it would be good to select the specific channel the changlog update should be posted to.
