    Hey everyone!

Right-to-left language support is now available across Featurebase 🎉

The customer-facing interface now automatically mirrors for right-to-left languages across:

    Supported right-to-left languages now include:

    • 🇸🇦 Arabic

    • 🇮🇷 Persian

    • 🇦🇫 Pashto

    • 🇮🇱 Hebrew

    • 🇵🇰 Urdu

    • 🇵🇰 Sindhi

Everything from navigation and text alignment to menus and content now adapts automatically based on the selected language.

We are now one of the few feedback and support tools that offer this!

Thanks for your patience and feedback!

Is it possible to change the language in the widgets?

@Bruno from Featurebase Since this is marked as completed, where can we use this feature from?

If it’s not actually done can we do any or both of these:

    1. Custom CSS to Apply RTL layout ourselves

    2. Localize the content ourselves

      Hey Omar!

Thanks for reaching out. It seems there was a bit of a mix-up with the status. The RTL part of that post isn't actually completed yet, and unfortunately, it's not on our immediate roadmap right now. I've updated the post to reflect this.

    RTL layout

Having a right-to-left (RTL) layout for Arabic countries, such as Saudi Arabia, would give you (Featurebase) a competitive advantage compared to other platforms like Canny, Frill, and Aha!

      Hey @darwish!

      Thanks for the suggestion.

Since a very small percentage of our user base is from that region, it doesn't currently make sense for us to add this. Maybe in the future.

Hey, this is something we have on our roadmap. Localization support will be included in the next few updates.

German and Portuguese are currently supported and we will release more languages soon.

Keep in mind that this feature is in beta and everything might not be translated 100% correctly on the public board.

Simply visit your feedback board with /de or /pt in the end to view a translated version.

Where can I see the full list of supported languages?

Maybe a language selector should be added to the portal?

Also in the admin area we need to be able to make changes for custom names, email templates, etc.(big task)
