Example scenario

Customer provides media (for this example - video) of a given Bug or functionality.

I’d like to reference the media in a ticket or in message to a team member.

Otherwise other participants need to get the chat link → scroll through a possibly long thread and then might find an incorrect video shared via chat.

Solution

Three dots that appear when hovering a chat message, that is a dropdown, with an item “Copy reference link“ → when navigated to link → chat will show (or scroll to) the copied message to be viewed.

    Quick update: you can now easily reference specific chat messages! Just hover over the message, click the three dots, and select the copy message button. Anyone using that link will be taken right to the message in the chat. Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see improved!
