Customizable Messenger Auto-Reply Message

I want to be able to change the default system message "We have received your message and will get back to you as soon as possible." in the Messenger. Currently, this message is hard-coded and cannot be edited, which is confusing for my users. Even as a paying customer on the Growth plan, I should have control over the basic messaging my users see.
