Filter for stale messages - Messages that have been inactive for some time
Filter to display messages which have been inactive/stale for over a week for example.
This would help to filter out chats that need to be closed (after a quick review).

Yup, I relate to this & have an existing behavior. Every two weeks I have a calendar notification to manually scroll through our support app and review any unresolved chats for followups.
