Manually create users

General

In addition to importing users via CSV, it should also be possible to manually create users one-by-one if needed by inserting their:

  • Name

  • Email AND/OR unique ID

NB! It should be possible to add users without an email address, in which case the USER ID will serve as the unique identifier.

If you add only email, the unique ID should be created automatically.

    Ideally, we would add a feature request on behalf of a customer and then start tagging it with other customers who have also mentioned it.

    A lot of the time, we probably wouldn't want to include their full email detail, but maybe just their name/company name.

    The issue I see at the moment is that it isn't really stored anywhere until an email is collected. I think at the moment upvoteres without an email end up just being named anonymous user which then means it doesn't help us too much later or in terms of filtering those upvoters and the value of them

    (Would want to avoid any kind of more significant sync that I know has been mentioned before)
