PinnedHey everyone!
Built-in spam filtering is now live for incoming email.
Featurebase automatically checks incoming emails before they reach your active Inbox. Flagged messages appear under Inbox → Spam, where you can review why they were flagged, restore false positives with Not spam, or delete them. Emails left there are automatically deleted after 60 days.
When Fibi handles email, it adds an AI layer for phishing, scams, cold sales, SEO and backlink outreach, and other content-spam patterns. You can also add custom Spam guidance, test sample emails, manage Trusted senders, and choose how auto-responders are handled.

Automatically filter out auto-replies and out-of-office emails
When forwarding support emails to Featurebase, out-of-office (OOO) auto-replies currently trigger notifications and clutter the inbox.
It would be helpful to have automatic OOO detection, where the system recognizes typical OOO patterns (e.g., subject lines, auto-reply headers) and either:
Tags the conversation as “OOO”
Or filters it out from active notifications
This would keep the inbox clean, reduce noise for support agents, and make it easier to prioritize real customer inquiries.

Yup, huge issue for us. Blocking & deleting 20+ spam messages daily. There’s also no option to bulk-block. Huge time sink.

Hi there! Thank you for acknowledging this and working on the issue of spam.
This is really an issue for us. Stuff like the below floods our inboxes. This has also been the case with our previous provider, so it’s not unique, but still worth solving.
It would be great if we could have an integrated AI service (preferably: sovereign European, like Scaleway’s generative API) that can flag easy stuff in our mail via a prompt. I mean, examples like these should low hanging fruit for an AI to catch:
The domain of a whiskey brand sending an e-mail about cloud storage that would be full
The domain of a suitcase brand sending us an e-mail about domain renewal
A company sending us a vague PO
A person offering his services for Shopify optimization (we’re a SaaS company)
E-mails about passwords that presumably are to expire soon
An e-mail written in Japanese about our “AMERICAN EXPRESS PLATINUM CARD PLATINUM CARD”
“If I can get you 3 more customers in exchange for 5% commission yes?”
Women offering us a visit
A Chinese company sending an e-mail to our partner inbox, starting with “Dear Partner,” and then continues to offer us spare parts for excavators (again: we’re SaaS)
Basically any e-mail that starts with “I hope this e-mail finds you well”
Customer support typically spends the first 10 minutes of our shifts now blocking all the users manually.

Mark autoresponder emails as spam
Option to make autoresponder emails from customers go straight to your spam.
E.g., when you send out a changelog and the reply-to address is your support@ email, then all of the autoresponder messages spam your inbox without this.
